This week, I wanted to experiment by mixing a modern and retro feel to create a music player app. The app also combines a gesture-based interface instead of the traditional player interface with physical play, pause, and skip buttons.

The basic gesture control ideas are as follows:

• Tap to play or pause
• Swipe up or down to skip tracks
• Turn the vinyl record to seek
• Shake to shuffle
